President Hage Geingob yesterday sent a message of condolence to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the plane crash that killed 244 people in Egypt over the weekend, most of them Russian citizens.
“At the occasion of the most unfortunate plane crash in which 244 people lost their lives, the Namibian Head of State sends a letter of condolence to the government and the people of the Russian Federation,” stated Albertus Aochamub the press secretary in the Office of the President.
“The President underscored his message by saying that Namibia shares in your loss and mourning and hope that the people of the Russian Federation will find strength during these trying times of bereavement,” he said.
