Green nurtures ICT professionals

Green Enterprise Solutions, a Namibian ICT company, has announced the onboarding of
interns across its various departments.

This internship programme is expected to
foster a new wave of tech-savvy professionals.
Three of these interns are stationed in Erongo region, and 10 are interning at Green’s main office in Windhoek.

The 13 interns are expected to engage in comprehensive, hands-on training in several departments, including software development, administrative, finance and project management. Green has designed this internship programme to provide a practical, real-world framework that
will prepare these young Namibian professionals for dynamic careers in ICT as well as other
sectors.

“By providing a robust internship programme, we have created a nurturing environment that supports and trains these bright young professionals, who will drive innovation and growth within the Namibian ICT sector,” said Kehad Snydewel, managing director at Green. “Our goal is to equip these interns with the required skills and experiences, ensuring they are well-prepared to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.”

Green has consistently offered internships to students and young Namibians from diverse backgrounds and different tertiary institutions. Green’s internship duration spans from three to six months, or even longer, based on the intern’s performance, and the guidelines and conditions specified by the internship guide. Professionals across all sectors in Namibia started as interns at Green.

One of the interns expressed her gratitude, stating; “I am truly grateful for this opportunity. Getting an internship is never an easy journey, and I feel fortunate to be a part of Green. As an intern at an ICT company, I am ready to grow personally and professionally, while gaining invaluable
experience in this industry.”

This year’s internship programme is aligned with the company’s commitment to capacity- building, where these internships are designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application. Hands-on experience is vital in the dynamic ICT industry. By providing access to cutting-edge technologies, state-of-the-art resources and real-world projects, Green ensures its interns receive a well-rounded learning
experience.

As the ICT industry continues to evolve, the demand for skilled professionals is increasing. Through a comprehensive internship programme, Green not only addresses this growing demand but also paves the way for a brighter and more technologically-advanced Namibia.
