WINDHOEK– Helalia ‘Rain’ Nangolo (17) from Walvis Bay in the Erongo region has a passion for writing.

Rain’s love for writing developed at a very tender age.  “On a normal day I would have a paper and pen in hand and note down every thought that comes across my mind.  I usually write poems, short stories and make diaries entries every other day,” she says. She describes herself as a charming and caring person with a good sense of humour.  “I am a self-confessed information buff, I love to read novels, newspapers, magazines – basically any source of information I can get my hands on,” Rain.

She has more than ten (10) poems to her name and focuses on day-to day issues and thoughts, dreams and words encouragements with the aim to stimulate, educate and entertain her peers.
