Motorsport Expo 2025 is gearing up to ignite the Tony Rust Race Track with the biggest, loudest and most thrilling motorsport weekend of the year on 24 and 25 October.
During the much-anticipated event, motoring enthusiasts can expect to be treated to incredible speeds, power slides, roaring engines and the smell of burning rubber.
With dealership stands, drift shows and DJs, the Motoring Expo offers something for motorsport lovers, car enthusiasts, families and festivalgoers alike.
The event, consisting of two action-packed days of motorsport madness, will showcase everything from exhibition cars and dealership showcases to high-octane drifting and grassroots motorsport disciplines.
On the dealership exhibitions, M&Z Motors is the exclusive vehicle exhibitor for the event where they will showcase a number of their brands.
M&Z Motors currently hosts a number of global brands, including Mercedes Benz, JAC Motors, LDV, Mitsubishi, Fiat, Jeep, Hyundai and Kia.
For access to these global brands, visitors to the expo will be able to test drive some of the latest vehicles available on the market.
On the first day of the expo, 24 October, the venue will open at 10am to offer the latest vehicle exhibitions, dealership booths and teasers, while hyped events such as spinning and drags are scheduled for the early evening.
Meanwhile, while the exhibitions are scheduled to continue from 9h00 on the second day, 25 October, additional motorsport events are scheduled to draw the crowds.
This includes a Vasbyt to test endurance and grit, a Gymkhana, and the culmination of the main event in the form of a drift show at 20h00.
Organisers have pledged a weekend of great motoring entertainment that will be complemented by music, plenty of surprises and special motorcycle action to be confirmed.
“It’s not just a race but a festival of speed, style and spectacle,” said one of the organisers, adding: “This expo is a chance to support and grow motorsport in Namibia. Events like these help raise the profile of the sport, build infrastructure, strengthen safety norms and inspire the next generation of drivers and mechanics”.
Visitors to the expo can gain access on daily or can purchase a weekend pass for best value.
So, whether you are a fan of exhibition vehicles, drift, drag or newer grassroots disciplines, the 2025 Motoring Expo at the Tony Rust racetrack will have something to rev your heart.
