WINDHOEK-The trio of Dj Chahelman, Nasho Beats and Jowdy, who blend with the name of House Guru Gangz, are ready to grab the Annual Music Awards (NAMAs), in the two categories of Best Collaboration and Best Afro Pop.

The new kids on block and multi-genre singers announced this after they were nominated for the first time in the music industry.  Popularly known as the “Gurus”, the trio have been nominated for songs from their debut album titled Born to be a star, released at the end of last year.  One of their hit songs, Kaadona Wange, meaning my girlfriend, featuring Neslow and Ann Singer, has been nominated in the Best Collaboration category  competing with songs of the big guns, Gazza, Oteya, Tswazis and KP Illest.

The song, Guru Dance, featuring Neslow is nominated in the Best Afro Pop category, competing with the songs of Oteya, Floritha, Uno Boy and Dj Glob na Dj Zille.  After the nominations, the House Guru Gangz shot their new video for the song Guru Dance, released this week on the Namibia Broadcasting Cooperation (NBC)’s  Whatagwan music programme.  “We have already started working on our next album, and it is much better than the debut one. The album is going to feature big names of 4×4 Too Much Power, Lady may, Permithias, Dama Monique and many more” says Nasho Beats.
