The Ministry of Health and Social Service since yesterday started to immunise children under the age of five years as part of the Maternal and Child Health Week. The exercise runs until Friday. Two new vaccines are being introduced to help protect children against diarrhoea and pneumonia. Parents are requested to take their children to the nearest health centre or mobile health points in their residential areas.
