Jackie Mwanza and her nine years old Nephew Noah Mwanza exhibition Black Madonna and the Baster Child is an enlightening art collection currently on at the Franco Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) Gallery is not to be missed.
The exhibition is an acknowledgement of the strength of emotions that are associated with things and people we hold dearly. The work is collaborative pieces and solo work by the two of them working in various mediums using found objects, recycled materials, acrylic paint, marker pens and crayons on paper, collage prints on cardboard sculptures and synthetic hair on wire.
The exhibition is Jackie’s first since she recently moved to Namibia from London to reunite with her family. The exhibition runs until December 8.
