The fifth edition of the Japanese Film Festival will commence next week at the Ster Kinekor cinema at Maerua Mall.

Presented by the Embassy of Japan in Namibia in collaboration with the Japan Foundation, the festival will see a new set of four different movies ranging from food drama, romantic comedy, and stop motion animation screened this year.

Screening will take place every Wednesday of October, and the first Wednesday of November.

Admission is free, and moviegoers have to collect their tickets at the venue from 17h00, with the movie set to start at 18h00.

The following movies will be shown:

12 October – Show Me The Way To The Station (Drama)

19 October – Takeshi Yashiro Stopmotion Animation (Stopmotion Animation)

26 October – Restaurant From The Sky (Food Drama)

2 November – Only The Cat Knows (Romantic Comedy)

Moviegoers should note that the order of the movies might change without prior notification.
