Rundu

A 43-year-old man took his own life by hanging himself from a tree, saying in a suicide note that he was tired of being unemployed.
The incident happened last Thursday at about 05h00 at Kaisosi informal settlement on the eastern outskirts of Rundu.

“I’m tired of the unemployed life I’m living on earth. To my children, stay well and don’t ask my in-laws anything but ask my wife. Don’t fear anything, concentrate on your studies, bye,” says a note found by the police in the deceased’s pocket.

The deceased was identified as Felix Siyave, 43, a resident of Kaisosi. He hung himself with a nylon rope from a tree.
According to the police no foul play is suspected.

“A suicide note was found in his possession, in his trouser pocket and it read as follows: ‘I Siyave, giving thanks to Almighty the creator, requesting you to receive me  in your name as I am coming’,” Detective Chief Inspector Chrispin Mubebo, the acting regional crime investigations coordinator for Kavango East Region, read from the suicide note left behind by Siyave.
