Khomas governor Laura McLeod-Katjirua has once again come to the aid of micro- entrepreneurs when she handed over equipment and materials worth N$180 000 as part of her development initiatives.

The programme is dedicated to small-scale entrepreneurs or for the self-employed to participate in local economic activities, and to also create employment in the region.

Accepting the equipment, meat shop owners in Katutura Lovisa Niigambo and Daniel David were grateful and acknowledged the value of the assistance and support from the office of the governor.

The beneficiaries received materials or equipment such as a heat seal machine, mincer, trespade, electric biltong slicer, wrapping machine, freezer, electric scale platform, stainless steel table with splash back and galvanised shelf, as well as many other items that aim to create entrepreneurship or self-employment.
