Khomas Netball Super 10 delivers thrilling action

The Khomas Netball Super 10 lived up to its expectations over the weekend, with thrilling and competitive matches played at the Patrick Iyambo Netball Courts in Windhoek. 

Despite the scorching heat, the players were fired up and determined to put on a spectacular display, much to the delight of the spectators.

The tournament featured an exciting blend of top-tier netball teams with intense competition throughout the weekend.

Here is a breakdown of the full results from Friday and Saturday:

The Super 10 division provided some of the most intense matches, with the Golden Girls continuing to impress, securing a 53-24 win over University of Namibia (Unam) Jaguars and a 47-40 victory against the Namibia Correctional Service. 

Wanderers also proved their dominance with a 15-0 win over the Namibian Defence Force.

 Tigers managed to secure a solid 34-26 win against the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST).

The First Division matches were equally engaging, with the Golden Girls making a strong statement with a 38-21 win over Black Africa.

 NUST defeated Black Africa 34-12.

In the Second Division, the City of Windhoek team outclassed Black Africa 42-17, while Windhoek City triumphed over Unam Som with a 37-24 victory. 

Tura Magic delivered an impressive performance, securing a 15-0 win over Quality Queens.

Despite the high temperatures, the players’ enthusiasm never waned. 

The weekend’s matches offered a glimpse into the fierce competition that will continue to shape the season. 

As the teams prepare for the next round of fixtures, netball fans are eagerly awaiting more action in the coming weeks.
