Date of Birth: Muesee Kazapua was born in 1980.

Education
He holds a Diploma in Youth Development, a certificate in Local Government Administration and a Certificate in Result-Oriented Management in Public Service. He completed a course at the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI). He completed his schooling at Augustineum Secondary School in Windhoek.

Career
He is a member of the Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL). He has worked as a community activist and was formerly a member of the Swapo Pioneers Movement. He was also a former Namibia National Student Organisation (NANSO) member and a former youth volunteer at the National Youth Council (NYC).

In 2005 Kazapua was elected as the chairperson of the Khomas Regional Forum and later on he was elected as a board member of the NYC.

At international level he represented Namibia in the Regional Youth Caucus at the Commonwealth Youth Programme Centre, based in Lusaka, Zambia. He also served as a member of the interim committee on the youth advisory structure of the African Union (AU) from for 2005 and 2006. He was previously appointed as the head of networking and international relations at the NYCl, a position he holds to date.

He was also appointed as the African coordinator for the World Assembly of Youth. He is the youngest member of the Windhoek City Council, representing the ruling Swapo Party. He joined the City Council in 2010, following the local authority elections held in November 2010.

He served as a member of the Council’s management committee in 2011, before his election as deputy mayor of the City of Windhoek in December 2012. He served as a member of the SPYL central committee for two consecutive terms (2010 and 2012).

Before that, he rose to the following ranks: he was elected as section secretary for Swapo’s Menesia Ruhumba section, information and mobilisation secretary for Swapo’s Aaron Tjatindi branch, secretary for information and mobilisation of Swapo’s Katutura Central district and information and mobilisation officer of the SPYL in the Khomas Region.

He is currently involved in social upliftment programmes involving youth empowerment projects and a mayoral outreach programme involving the provision of food and other materials to kindergartens.
