Twelve-year old Realeboha Pholosi recently won the employee leg of the DHL Match Ball Delivery competition by sending a video of a poem to DHL, illustrating her passion for rugby.

This win offers Realeboha a once in a lifetime opportunity to become part of rugby history by delivering the official Match Ball for the Namibia/Argentina encounter, slated for October 11 in England.
In addition to delivering the official Match Ball onto the field, the prize package includes flights and accommodation, branded merchandise and an official Match Ball delivery photo as a memento.

”I’m so excited at the prospect of traveling overseas for the first time for such a big event. Even though Lesotho will not be represented at the IRB World Cup, I’m going to represent my country by being part of the event,” Realeboha said.

Realeboha’s father, Moloko, works for DHL Express Lesotho as the Operations Supervisor.  “DHL is the Official Logistics Partner for Rugby World Cup 2015, so we are in a very fortunate position to be able to offer this money-can’t-buy experience to Realeboha and her father who will be accompanying her,” said Deon Appelcryn, Country Manager for DHL Express Lesotho.

This forms part of DHL’s global competition, whereby 48 children, aged 8-15 years, from all over the world were awarded an opportunity to deliver the official Match Ball onto the field of play at Rugby World Cup 2015 matches.
This year’s IRB World Cup consists of 48 matches with 20 nations competing over 44 days. During the tourney, there will be 920 players and team officials; over 60 citing, judicial, match officials, 6,000 volunteers, an expected figure of 400,000 visitors to the United Kingdom, and an estimated US$3.2 billion economic impact.
