The first solar powered electric car ILanga II on the African continent designed and constructed by students of the University of Johannesburg, arrived in Namibia on Monday. The exercise was to cement closer ties with institutions of higher learning across the border and to inspire locals to take up studies in research and innovation in renewable energy.
