WINDHOEK-One of the Namibian Trademark brands, TeamShako, hosted a successful two-day local brands exhibition at Jan Möhr Secondary School Sport Field on Friday and Saturday.
More than ten local brands exhibited their clothing line. T-shirts, shirts, jerseys, caps, shorts, tops, panties and other accessories were all on show. The first of its kind, the exhibition also saw owners of the brands defining their own products and how they are made and what they use to come up with them. “We decided to organise this in a way that all local brands get a great opportunity to outcast the great ideas when it comes to clothing line in Namibia,” says Marketing Manager of the TeamShako, Naftal Nghishekwa.
The main aim of the exhibition was to bring together all the Namibia products and encourage Namibians to start buying local brands instead of international ones. Namibian business ventures also brainstormed on the occasion on a marketplace for their local brands. Brands such as Dream Team, Dots, Waar Pas Dit, Sobisoo, Current Situation, Collabo, Proper and Walker are some of those that impressed at the exhibition.
TeamShako is a brand that aims at encouraging Namibians to support local brands as well as to outcast all talented local brands and helps them to market it to the rest of the world.
