WINDHOEK – The latest company within The Sign Shop group was launched in Windhoek against the backdrop of a spectacular sunset from the seventh floor of the Maerua Mall office complex. Just Logic digital media house joins the already established Sign Shop group which started doing business in Namibia 21 years ago.

Speaking at the event, Dirk Kleinschmidt, director of public relations and media said: “There is no doubt that interactive digital signage and displays are here to stay. More and more businesses are investing in digital signage technology, not only in a traditional sense to advertise products and services but also to use them as interactive touch points to engage customers.

“While there is no guarantee when it comes to technology, one thing is sure, the future lies with our and the next generation of technology users who are growing up with digital screens and interactive displays. Traditional signs will become digital and digital signs will become interactive. For example things like restaurant menus, digital signage in shopping centres, and advertising on the city roads will take the next step and become more interactive and engaging.”

He added: “Just Logic has been evolving for some time and is run through our local network using the licensed Scala software. Just Logic offers businesses and brands a highly comparative business broadcasting approach rather than traditional communication methods and channels. Now there is no need for memory sticks, CDs, computers or any other mobile device to be near or attached to the Just Logic HD industrial screens. Material is uploaded through Just Logic’s operations centre and scheduling is done through an automated electronic system which is flexible and changes can be made easily.”

Kleinschmidt continued: “The integrated system allows endless possibilities for our clients. The need to develop high-end animated material such as adverts, training modules, promotional material, announcements and office messaging is now handled in-house for a fraction of the standard development costs.”

The Just Logic general manager, Beverly Jandrell-Uren, said: “Business broadcast is one of the innovative solutions which Just Logic has introduced. Now, businesses and brands can talk to their clients and staff via a digital platform, in their own language with a relevant message.”
