WINDHOEK– The last brand on the catwalk, M Creation, walked away with the allolade of the Season 4 Best Designer.
The Designer Fashion Show, now in Season 4 is still attracting more fashion lovers to its fashion shows.More than 500 fashionistas attended the Season 4 fashion show at Protea Hotel Fürstenhorf on Saturday, to experience the creative attires designed by different young designers. Known for its men to women wears outfits, which were well received on the catwalk as well, M Creation only showcased the men’s wears, inspired by Oshivambo traditions. The man behind M Creation is none other than Mathew Erastus.
The show kicked off on a high note and was opened by Metha Uuushona of Proud Designs, winner of Designer Fashion Show Season 3. She motivated the young designers who want to pursue their career in fashion to work hard to achieve what they are aiming for in life. Designs by the House of Apez Fashion was first on the catwalk seeing beautiful models showcasing its collection with elegancy. The collection was inspired by the Zambezi region, and most outfits were of the Zambesi tradition. The T&M Creations, owned by Tuyakula Shikomba and Maila Kalipi, thrilled the crowd with its garments. The garments were a mixture of different traditions around Namibia. It walked away with the Best Newcomer Designers of Season 4. Proud Designs by Metha Uushona was well received on the caltwalk. The black stylish outfits ready to wear was one of the best among all, shining and done with creativity. Lsk Creation did not disappoint as its garments was all good and well designed.
Petrick Shivute won the Best Male Model while Kristofina Jason won Best Female Model. Oteya, Chikune, FTS, Ama-Daz-Floor, D-Suare, Makhazola, A-Jay and Morango Crew kept the crowed entertained.
