By Frederick Philander WINDHOEK As part of its social corporate responsibility M+Z Motors has donated cash of more than N$9000 plus computer equipment to the Otjikondo Children’s Foundation, it was announced in a press release from the company. The donation is the result of the corporate social involvement of M+Z Motors with education and the upliftment of Namibian children. “In addition to a generous donation of Daimler-Chrysler on the occasion of our centenary celebrations as the M+Z Group, M+Z Motors has pledged to donate a fixed percentage of all vehicles sold since October of this year to the Otjikondo Children’s Foundation for the benefit of learning”, said Verena GrÃÆ’Æ‘Æ‘ÃÆ”šÃ‚¼ttemeyer, Managing Director of M+Z Motors. According to her, the company will carry on making this kind of donation to the foundation until the end of next year. “This kind of involvement is vital if we as a nation are to achieve the goals of Vision 2030. The private sector needs to make a substantial contribution toward nation building and this is our effort. We would like to thank our loyal customers for helping to make this donation possible,” she concluded.
