WINDHOEK – Deputy Police Commissioner, Edwin Kanguatjivi, who is the head of Nampol’s public relations division informed the media on Saturday that Mwetulungila Timbo (45) an Angolan national hanged himself with a rope at Opuwo.

The deceased apparently had an argument with someone over money. Timbo was found hanging from a tree, Kanguatjivi said.

On Friday at 22h00 at Okahandja Park, two cousins fought and stabbed each other with knives and one of them died on the spot, while the surviving cousin was arrested and is expected to appear in court today for murder.

On Saturday, 26-year-old David Sylvanus died at about 22h30 behind the Windhoek Central Hospital after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving. The vehicle left the road and overturned several times with its sole occupant inside.
