Make a mind shift about farming

Home Farmers Forum Make a mind shift about farming

Windhoek

Both, Dr Piet Croucamp as guest speaker at the NAU Congress and Willie Theron as speaker at the LPO Congress, pointed out that farmers have to think newly about the farming practices in Namibia.

Croucamp was the presenter of the KykNet TV program “Mega Boere” and was invited to share with Congress the joint factors which made mega farmers successful whilst Theron spoke at the LPO Congress about aptness. From both presentations it was clear that the current generation Namibian farmers will have to think differently on how they farm and cannot continue with the practices from previous generations.

Both presentations of these speakers were in line with the theme of both the NAU and LPO Congress, namely smart farming.
