Miss Namibia finalists continue to tour Namibia

Miss Namibia finalists continue to tour Namibia

The top 10 finalists of the Miss Namibia 2025 pageant were treated to a royal welcome on Africa Day.

They visited the Palace of the Omukwaniilwa of Aandonga in the northern part of the country.

The visit formed part of their nationwide tour ahead of the Miss Namibia finale, scheduled to take place in July in the Oshana region.  Fillemon Shuumbwa Nangolo, the king of Ondonga, hosted the finalists in a ceremony that blended cultural heritage with national pride.  The Africa Day celebration at the palace was a powerful platform for the finalists to engage with local traditions and leadership, marking a historic milestone for the pageant.

Nnangolo used the occasion to highlight the importance of empowering young Namibian women and preserving national heritage.  In a symbolic gesture of support, he announced a donation of a heifer and N$30 000 to the Miss Namibia 2025 pageant.  The heifer will be awarded to the eventual winner regardless of her region of origin.
