Namibia’s own Elaine Engelbrecht, crowned Miss Teen Namibia 2024 in July in Lüderitz, is preparing to represent the country at the Miss Teen International 2025 pageant in India from 23 to 31 August.

She is set to leave today for India today. 

Engelbrecht will be flying the Namibian flag high as she competes with teenagers from around the world in one of the biggest international beauty pageants. 

Since her crowning, she has been preparing for the big stage, working on public speaking, stage presence and cultural presentation. 

She is passionate about helping others and hopes to use this platform to inspire young girls across the country.

Miss Teen International is more than just a beauty contest. 

It focuses on confidence, intelligence and making a difference in the community. 

Engelbrecht’s positive energy and dedication have already made her a strong contender.
