The FNB Namibia Group has confirmed that Samantha Möller-Henckert is the new head of operational risk in the risk and compliance department.
In her new position Samantha has been tasked with the end-to-end responsibility for operational risk management within the Group. This entails implementing, managing, monitoring and establishing an effective and efficient operational risk management framework for FNB Namibia.
She is responsible for assisting and enabling management to identify, manage and mitigate operational risks and for assisting FNB in achieving “World Class at Managing Risk” status.
Samantha holds a Bachelor in Commerce degree with majors in economics and law from the University of Cape Town (UCT) and is currently in the process of completing her LLB through the University of the Free State (UFS).
After passing the Business Continuity Institute’s (BCI) certification exam with merit, she was enrolled as an associate member of the BCI. She is currently the only Namibian member of the BCI, the world’s leading institute for business continuity.
