Mouthwatering WSL matches this weekend

A thrilling series of fixtures awaits fans of the FNB Women’s Super League (WSL) this weekend, with matches scheduled to take place at various venues nationwide. The action kicks off today with a highly anticipated clash between Ramblers FC and Girls and Goalz at the Namibia Football Association (NFA) technical centre in the capital.

On Saturday, the excitement continues with log leaders Ongos FC facing off against Khomas Nampol, followed by V-Power Angels taking on Beauties at the same venue.

NUST Babes will be facing a tough challenge as they go head-to-head with the equally formidable Namib Daughters at the NFA technical centre. Meanwhile, in Oshakati, fans can expect another captivating match as Ongwediva Queens welcome Unam Bokkies at Uukwangula Stadium.

On Sunday, V-Power will square off against Khomas Nampol, while Ongos Ladies seek to secure points against Beauties at the same venue. NUST Babes will then compete against Okahandja FC, and Ongwediva Queens will face a stern test against Girls and Goalz. Expressing enthusiasm ahead of the weekend games, Shama Gure shared his thoughts with this publication yesterday. He expressed confidence in his team’s preparation and their aim to secure maximum points.

“Every game presents a unique challenge, and we approach each one differently. The matches this weekend are equally tough, but we’ve worked hard to address our weaknesses and are focused on maintaining our momentum and securing victories. It won’t be an easy weekend with all teams striving for points in the second leg, but our goal is clear: to win all our weekend games,” he stated.
