WINDHOEK
-Multi-genre singer, Strauss Lunyangwe, aka, Mr. Makoya, is hosting a party for the release of his third studio album Bly In Jou Baan, tonight at LQ lounge in Khomasdal Groove.

He says the release party is to show appreciation to his fans, to mingle and interact with them in celebration of his best album to be. He is thus inviting all his friends, families and supporters to celebrate the album’s release with the six top DJs in the country, Katiti, Kadafi, Charlo, Rockafella Boy’s, Steven Abner and Skipper. “To top it up, people will have an opportunity to meet with business people, VIPs, and other celebrities that I have invited,” says Mr. Makoya.

He adds that the reason why he titled his album Bly In Jou Baan, meaning “stay in your lane”  is because he has now started to understand the value of music since his music is not average to those that people hear on radios every day.  “I am staying in my lane because the music that I am currently doing, it’s only me who can do it. I am getting at a point where I know what people really want to hear,” he says.

However, Mr. Makoya will also be having a promotional show tomorrow at Urban Legend, in Post Mall in the City centre. The first ten  people to request the album at the entrance will get it for free. The CDs will cost N$ 60 these two days, afterward it will go back to the normal price of N$ 100.

Both shows are starting at seven O’clock (19h00) and the entrance fee is N$ 30.
