Some of the most crucial aspects, besides affordability and reliability to consider when purchasing a vehicle, is the service cost as well as readily available and reasonably-priced spare parts.
In the case of JAC Motors Namibia, all these serviceable boxes are ticked as a fully-stocked parts’ warehouse ensures that all wear and tear parts are easily and rapidly available.
Speaking to Woema this week, Edwine van Wyk, warranty supervisor at M&Z Investments, said the well-stocked parts warehouse ensures a limited downtime for the vehicles in the M&Z Motors stable, including well-known brands like JAC Motors, Mahindra, Jeep and Peugeot.
Most of the vehicles in the M&Z Motors group come standard with five years or 100 000km warranty, which provides motorists with peace of mind, particularly when it comes to any major mechanical issues that may arise.
“Even when the parts that need to be replaced fall outside the warranty parametres, our replacement parts are quite affordable compared to other brands,” she said.
She emphasised that all parts sold are genuine and of quality, which provide customers with the best value for money.
“As long as the customer abides by and follows instructions on the service agreement, then the warranty is fully covered,” she said.
She continued that brands like JAC Motors take the service aspect a step further through the provision of a dedicated accessory fitment centre on site.
Elaborating on what actually goes into servicing a JAC vehicle, Llewelyn Cloete, one of the experienced technicians at the workshop, said the process is straightforward and simple.
“A normal service usually takes about 40 minutes to an hour. This means the customer will get their vehicle back on the same day” he said.
