The Namibia Christian Apostles and Prophet Association (NACAPA) Youth League, is hosting a fundraising event on November 20 to 21 at various places in Katutura.
Chairperson of the Youth League Kamburee Kahengava says they aim to raise N$20 000 for use in the implementation of strategic goals on education and health, in line with their Vision 2018.
The event starts on Friday evening at 22h00 at night with a gospel show, featuring youth from 13 churches in Katutura affiliated to NACAPA. The show will take place at St Phillip Church.
Saturday November 21 will see a soccer and netball tournament in the morning at the Katutura Youth Complex and a beauty pageant at St Phillip later that evening. The organisers are inviting young people from across Windhoek to attend in large numbers to support the event.
The NACAPA Youth League was established in February.
