Bridging generational gaps and igniting topical conversations are at the core of ‘Candid Conversations with Robyn Nakaambo’.

The podcast focuses on inspirational stories from industry experts who share their experiences, wins and lessons, aiming to encourage the audience to reach for the stars regardless of circumstances.

“As a purpose-driven media personality and a woman in the corporate world, I wanted to create a platform to connect deeply with my loyal audience. A podcast is the best way to network with industry leaders while simultaneously inspiring and motivating them,” the media personality candidly said.

Nakaambo, who is also a communication specialist, said podcasting is an untapped market in Namibia now, and she thought it would be a great opportunity to inculcate a culture of uplifting others through different platforms as influential individuals.

“I aspire to make a positive impact on my audience each podcast episode at a time. ‘Candid Conversations with Robyn’ will be a 30 to 45-minute monthly podcast, to be released the first week of the month,” she detailed.

She highlighted that ‘Candid Conversations with Robyn’ aims to address issues by sharing experiences, offering solutions through industry experts, and ultimately encouraging or inspiring the audience.

Popularly known as “Ruby the Dime” during her heyday as a radio personality, Nakaambo said she has observed the quality of locally produced content in the podcast landscape; however, she will refrain from touching on that issue.

“I pride myself on running my own race and truly believe that I am entering the market to contribute positively. The pie is big enough for all of us, so I encourage those who have dreamt of podcasts to join us on this journey. The more the merrier,” she said with a bright smile.

Nakaambo implored everyone to take time out to watch her podcast to tap into the experiences of local experts and draw inspiration from them.

The debut podcast titled “Personal Brand Strategy” was released on 2 March 2026 via her YouTube channel (Robyn Nakaambo or @robynnakaambo3234).

It featured Desmond Nikanor, a seasoned professional, strategist and columnist. His intriguing story will spark vigour for rebranding oneself to achieve personal goals and guide the audience to conduct a personal audit and put a strategy in place to enrich themselves.
