Nakathila takes on Muratalla in Las Vegas

Award-winning promoter and trainer Nestor Tobias expressed anticipation at the upcoming showdown between his boxer Jeremia Nakathila and Raymond Muratalla, highlighting its significance as the pathway for the Namibian’s shot at a world title.

The highly anticipated 10-round lightweight mega fight is set to take place tomorrow at the illustrious MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, USA.

Tobias stressed their pursuit to challenge for the world title, saying: “We have prepared diligently, engaging in light training sessions while eagerly awaiting the day of the fight. This bout holds tremendous importance for Nakathila. It represents one of his toughest tests this year. It is imperative that he enters the ring with a winning mindset. We are left with no choice but to secure a victory, as it is our current pathway to success”.

Nakathila (33) boasts an impressive record of 25 fights, with 23 wins, including 19 knockouts and only two losses.

Muratalla (26) from the USA has 17 wins off 17 fights with 14 victories by knockout.

Speaking from the US, Tobias told New Era Sport the bout presents a significant opportunity and one they must seize with both hands.

“It is not merely an ordinary chance but a golden opportunity that demands our utmost commitment. Winning against Raymond will open wide the doors to a shot at the coveted world title.”

Assessing his boxer’s preparedness, Tobias declared his confidence in the fighter’s physical and mental readiness, saying after four months of intense training, Nakathila has reached peak form and is primed to cause an upset.

“We are fully prepared, and the champ is in exceptional physical and mental condition. We have dedicated ourselves to rigorous training to ensure that no obstacles or excuses hinder us on this day. Nakathila has waited long enough for this moment, and I believe it is his time to shine. We call upon our fans to show their support from home, and we promise to bring the victory home,” Tobias stated.
