Nam Breweries discourages drinking and driving

As a responsible beverage company and good corporate citizen, Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) aims to make a positive impact in the community by advocating for zero tolerance for drinking and driving. This means when you drink alcohol, never drive.

“We believe in zero tolerance approach when it comes to drinking alcohol and driving. Let’s reach our destinations safely and we thank MVA Fund, road safety stakeholders and hard-working law enforcement colleagues. One of our core values is Care and we care about our consumers and the Namibian community,” said NBL’s sustainability manager Franklin Angermund. It is with this momentum that NBL has had a long-term partnership in supporting the Festive Season Road Safety Campaign for the past 18 years and is one of the largest value sponsors amounting to N$200 000. This investment goes towards providing branded reflective jackets to the Namibian Police, refreshments for traffic police manning the roadblocks countrywide and supporting a radio road safety awareness campaign.
