Namibia’s Luis up for possible eviction!

Home Time Out Namibia’s Luis up for possible eviction!

WINDHOEK- Namibian representative in the Big Brother Africa (BBA) Hotshots house, Luis Munana, is up for possible eviction this Sunday with six other housemates.

Macky2, Kacey Moore, Mr. 265, Arthur, Frankie and Botswana’s Sheillah being the only female up for eviction this week are the housemates joining Luis this week on the chopping board and will only survive depending on how Africa votes. Sheillah picked up ten nominations, with her housemates citing both her attitude and her manipulative nature as reasons. Macky2 was next with nine nominations, followed by Mr. 265 and Luis with five and four respectively, Kacey Moore and Arthur with three each, two for Permithias and one for Nhlanhla & Samantha.

After Big Brother revealed the nomination results to the housemates on Monday evening, JJ was immediately summoned to the Diary Room to give his ‘add’ decision. He seemed to have made his mind up before his session, and named Frankie without hesitation.

Following the Sunday’s live eviction, Laveda from Tanzanian and Kenyan Alusa became the sixth and seventh Housemates to vacate the house. Speaking to New Era’s Selma Neshiko from Johannesburg this week, Laveda said she did not expect some of the housemates to have nominated her because they acted the opposite in the house. “It’s funny because people, who were very nice to you, do the opposite in the diary session. It’s a tricky game, there’s this psychological thing going on,” she said.

Laveda said she BBA was a very unique experience but will now be focusing on her career. “I’m embracing the fact that I’m out and there’s so much positivity going on. I’m looking forward to going home and focus on my music because I was an underground artist. BBA has been a starting point for me,” said Laveda.

When asked about her relationship with Permithias, Laveda said, “You cannot plan romance ahead, I’m outside and his inside and right now anything can happen. For now I’ll leave it as it is and I can’t wait to see him.”

Another evictee, Alusa, said he was surprised when one of the people who nominated him was one of his closest friends. “Goitse and I were good friends. We shared a connection for her to put me out. I wasn’t ready to leave but I forgive her,” said Alusa.

Alusa said even though his time was up, he shared memorable moments with a lot of housemates but was still getting close to others. “I was getting close to Luis, especially when he was going through moments. I also connected with many housemates; I took time to know people. I believe in the person inside and since I was the oldest most of them felt the need to confide in me,” he said, adding that Namibia is top of his lead for his upcoming projects.

For the meantime, all that Namibian viewers can do to save the country’s representative is to remain voting for him and hope that other countries will support him too. Namibian other representative Permithias is safe this week for possible eviction. Continue voting for Luis to stay in the house because the more you vote, the better chance he stands of staying in the house and being named as the winner. There are four ways to vote such as Via SMS, Via WeChat, Via http://www.bigbrotherafrica.com and Via the mobisite on your mobile phone. To vote via SMS: Text the keyword ‘Vote’, followed by the name of the housemate to the short code number for your country. For example SMS “Vote Luis” to 15626.
