WINDHOEK – The Namibia National Students Organisation (Nanso) plans to hold its elective congress in 2015 and has called on all regional structures to attend.
Nanso Secretary General Sharonice Busch said only eight regions have completed their structures to be presented at the planned congress, which is scheduled for the first quarter of 2015.

Busch said after the National Executive Committee (NEC) assessed the readiness of the organisation’s partners to commit funding, they had come to the conclusion that not all partners were in a position to meet the cost obligations before the congress’s set date.

“The NEC trusts in your usual and comradely understanding of these challenges and commits to ensure all these challenges are addressed soonest so that congress proceeds as is required by the Nanso constitution,” said Busch at a recent press conference.
