WINDHOEK- Local rapper,Aron ‘Nanzyboy’ Nanzimbogo who dropped a single titled ‘Knowledge Katti’ three months ago fired off at haters to his recently released remix of the single featuring some well-known Hip Hop artists.
Nanzyboy says that the remix which features the likes of J Black, Mr Diamond, Kanibal, KP Illest and Quido is a banger that retired rapper, Quido, had to come back for five minutes to lay down a couple of bars. “Ever since I dropped the remix, the hate is coming in. A lot of nay sayers hate the fact that I could put big local names on one song without fear of being marked. They simply can’t stand that but they will have to sit down because this is just the beginning,” says Nanzyboy.
Ever since he announced that he was going to work on the Knowledge Katti remix, nine popular and not so popular artists pleaded to be on the remix. Nanzyboy says that one of the artists was paid N$600 to feature on the remix but has vanished upon receiving the money from his former manager and cutting all contacts. “I don’t know if it’s because he heard Mr Diamonds, J Black and KP’s verses and feared to be on the record, or if it’s some “thug” mentality. Well, I’m not chasing after him. He owes my label, G Hussle, two verses now. I’m not going to mention his name but such disrespectful acts from inefficient artists and slacking artists can’t and won’t be tolerated by us, and shouldn’t be tolerated by anyone in the industry that is trying to build something for themselves”
The rapper goes on that if the vanished rapper disappears again after payment for a feature, then he should know that the G Hussle can put the last nail to his already perishing rapping career. “We (G Hussle) all got a hot verse to smoke anybody’s beef, but we don’t initiate, we also don’t tolerate disrespect, our mission here is to deliver and entertain the loyal music lovers,” saysNanzyboy.
He believes that with both the positive and negative feedback he received about the song, it proves that he has delivered. “I will soon make my official breakthrough into the music scene because I still did not achieve anything but overall there are always more lovers than haters, plus if there is no hate, it shows you aren’t doing anything right. Don’t get me wrong but there is a difference between genuine opinion and hate. I always accept other’s opinions, use it to observe faults and adjust where needed and if it’s needed but haters should know that hate is there to build and promote me.” he concludes. The remix is available on Soundcloud.
