WINDHOEK

Several matches have been scheduled in the Khomas Netball Regional League this weekend, with former champions United coming up against an ageing Tigers outfit at the Khomasdal Sports Complex netball courts tomorrow afternoon (13h30), whilst Civics have a date with Wanderers at the same venue at (14h45).

Meanwhile, the Khomas Netball Regional League has accepted an invitation to dispatch Development and Senior sides to the Southern Regional Netball tournament at the University of Stellenbosch’s DF Malan Memorial Hall, near Cape Town, South Africa.

The two-day annual tourney is organized by the Boland Netball Region and takes off on the 6th of next month.

In meantime, the Khomas Netball Regional League has organized a Fund Raising Breakfast to be held at the Arebbush Restaurant south of Windhoek on the 17th of this month. The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of National Service, Youth, Sport & Culture Pohamba Shifeta will be the guest speaker at the fund-raising gala event.
