New Jeep Wrangler reforged for adventure

Backed by more than 80 years of 4×4 engineering expertise, the new Jeep Wrangler is the most recognisable and capable vehicle on the planet.

Jeep Wrangler builds on the brand’s goal to deliver freedom of choice, offering an unmatched combination of leading off-road capability, iconic Jeep design, open-air freedom, advanced powertrains and a refined interior, as well as a host of innovative safety and advanced technology features.

With capability at its core, Jeep Wrangler is built on a body-on-frame design with a front and rear five-link suspension system, solid axles and available electronic lockers.

To meet the capability needs of the most avid off-road enthusiasts, Wrangler offers a full-float Dana rear axle, combining a robust drivetrain, delivering torque on demand and ensuring optimal and continuous power in any situation.

Inside, side-curtain airbags are standard in the first and second rows. Wrangler features a standard 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 12-way power adjustable leather front seats and more than 85 safety features, including blind-spot monitoring and rear cross path detection.

Adaptive cruise control further Wrangler’s refinement, as well as drowsy driver alert, and lane departure warning.

Every Wrangler model’s Trail Rated badge reflects an unmatched specification list that includes Dana solid front and rear axles, two-speed transfer case, traction control, tow hooks, four-wheel disc brakes, four skid plates and a minimum tyre size of 81 centimetre diameter. The new Wrangler continues to raise the bar with the all-new next-generation Dana 44 high definition full-float rear axle on Rubicon models.

Sport models run on 17-inch steel wheels and Sahara models feature 18-inch alloy wheels as standard. Wrangler Rubicon is forged for off-road adventure and is shod with Mud-Terrain tyres as standard on 17-inch alloy rims.

To protect critical vehicle components while on the trail, including the fuel tank, transfer case and automatic transmission oil pan, the Wrangler features four skid plates.

The use of lightweight, high-strength aluminium closures, including the doors, door hinges, hood, fender flares, windshield frame and magnesium swing gate, helps reduce weight and boost fuel economy.

The Wrangler continues to use the proven five-link coil suspension setup. Its front suspension features two upper and two lower high-strength steel control arms for longitudinal control and a cross-car track bar for lateral axle control.

The new Wrangler’s refined interior is loaded with premium features and technology along with Jeep functionality and versatility.

The heritage-inspired centre stack features a clean, sculpted form that complements the horizontal dashboard design. A wrapped instrument panel features new soft-touch surfaces, in fabric or polyurethane, with contrast accent stitching. New AMPS bracket provisions are now featured on top of the dash.
