Top appointment…Melissa Gillies has been announced as the new coach for the Namibian Outdoor Hockey Women’s Team by the Namibia Hockey Union on Wednesday. According to a media release sent to New Era Sport, Gillies brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to her role. Gillies previously led the Outdoor Ladies team to the Afcon Games in January 2022. She is expected to lead the team for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Games scheduled to take place in Pretoria, South Africa from the 29th of October 2023. Photo: NHU
