The achievements of the Ohlthaver & List Group (O&L) were recognised by its peers who voted and saw the group walk away with a total of 14 awards at the Professional Management Review Africa Awards held at the Safari Hotel in Windhoek yesterday.

O&L received Diamond Arrow Awards, placing it first overall in the categories: Companies doing the most to protect the environment; Companies doing the most for job creation; Companies doing the most to fight HIV/AIDS; Companies doing the most to empower women, Companies doing the most to promote the production of local goods and products.

Furthermore, Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) received four awards, comprising two Diamond Arrows (1st overall) in the category Namibia’s Overall Favourite Brands for its brand Windhoek Lager in the category Alcoholic Beverage Companies, while it received a Gold in the category Outstanding Advertising, and Silver in the category Companies doing the most to protect the environment.
Namibia Dairies was awarded a Golden Arrow, as 1st place winner in the Agriculture category, for its contribution to the sector, while Pick n Pay (PnP) Namibia received a Bronze Arrow Award in the Retail Stores category.

Broll Namibia also received a Gold Award as 1st overall winner in the Properties Management Companies category, while Hangana Seafood received a Gold in the Fishing Companies category. Dimension Data was awarded 1st prize overall in the ICT category.
Expressing gratitude for the recognition bestowed upon the O&L Group and its operations in various sectors, Group corporate relations manager Patricia Hoeksema, thanked all its stakeholders for their support.
