Impressive Events Management is proud to present “Kwaito Dance from Da Kasie”, a dance theatre production, next Friday and Saturday at the National Theatre as part of the Bank Windhoek Winter Arts Festival. Featuring Auntie Sausa (well known with his domestic worker outfit), the Street Kids from GMP (Dicksa, Mr. Bonze and Challo) and dancer from Equipped Dancing Academy, this show is one of a kind. Kwaito Dance from Da Kasie is a celebration and compliment of the much-loved and fast-growing music genre, Kwaito. The dancing moves in this show such as mapansula, Ka-viba, kuduru, kwasa and many more, will definitely leave the audiences wanting more. What makes this show special is the fact that each dancing scene has a story behind it. Theatre is entertaining as well as educational. The dancing scenes in this production tackle social issues such as classroom discipline, sugar daddies and teenage pregnancies, HIV/AIDS and alcohol and drug abuse. Doors open at 19h00 and the show starts at 20h00 sharp.
