Every time they opened their mouths, nothing good came out of it. They spoke like drunken men and every word they spit was sharp as a needle. After some of our very own Namibians got opportunities and blessings to own assets, haters screamed the loudest. And the most frustrating thing is those that were foolish enough to listen to them and went along with their flow. I’m not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. The most things we all have to get used to is that people will always talk whether you are doing good or bad. Do not let these little things that people say about you break you down. They will hate you because you are a reflection of what they want to be. People that will hate for nothing have jealousy, insecurities that you may be better than them, envy and evilness. When you feel hatred you must know that Satan has managed to invade your spirit and you have moved a lot of steps from God. Most haters are stuck in a poisonous mental prison of jealousy and self-doubt that blinds them to their own potentiality.
I myself have been hated by so many people as a kid at school. Sometimes for things that don’t really make sense, one of the reasons was because I spoke better English than them. I had to be forced into fights even if I didn’t want to fight; I have fought battles that were brought to my door. I have been insulted and sometimes beaten up and at often times I would ask myself if I have done something wrong to this people, as people say that you reap what you saw. Why do some people have to reap bad fruit from the good they sawed? Than I thought to myself with understandings that people can’t control their jealousy and their hearts won’t be at peace if they don’t hurt the person that is causing that jealousy.
I have been there, and if you are reading this article and you are going through this stage, it will pass. You might try to change a few things about yourself, you don’t have to. Haters are dangerous people but trust me, they will try to find their way to you but keep calm. Protect your good image from the eyes of negative people, who may look at your good appearance with an ugly fiendish eye, and ruin your positive qualities with their chemical infested tongues. No one will knock you over.
