WINDHOEK– Namibia’s last representative in the Big Brother Africa Hotshot, aka Permithias, who last Sunday was evicted from the reality tv show, says he did his best.
He followed his fellow Namibian housemate, Luis Munana, the previous Sunday.Permithias’ eviction might have been a sadly departure for Namibian fans but for Permithias it was experiential. “It was a game and you don’t know what’s coming to you but all I know is it was crazy. I’ve learned so much in the game,” says Permithias. When asked about the controversial buzzes of him being gay, Permithias was quick to say he loves women. “I’m not gay, was never one and will never be one as well. I love women period,” he says adding that he plans on focusing on his music career and taking to the next level when he get back home.
Cast out with Permithias was Rwanda’s Frankie who was the first housemates to be evicted. Frankie entered the game with hopes of taking the money back home and giving back to his community by building a school in his village but his dream got cut short. “I grew up in a struggling family, I went to worse schools just because my parents did not have money and I decided that if I win the money, I’ll make a change but even if I did not win, it’s not the end because I still got a dream,” he says. Being a musician himself, Frankie picks out out Permithias as one of the best talents in the house. “We had a lot of talents but Permithias is really good. He got something going on but he just need to focus and take this serious,” says Frankie, closing that his stay was amazing and looking forward to good things.
Currently up for possible eviction this Sunday is Samantha (South African), Goitse (Botswana), Idris (Tanzania), Mr. 265 (Malawi) and Macky2 (Zambia). The other housemates who picked up nominations but aren’t in line to leave on Sunday are, Butterphly and Ellah. The more you vote for your favourite nominated housemate, the better their chance of staying in the house and being named as the winner. There are four ways to vote for your favourite housemate each week, Via SMS, Via WeChat, via www.bigbrotherafrica.com and via the mobisite on your mobile phone.
