OKAHANDJA – Emile Bohm caught the biggest bass weighing a massive 2.504 kg to win the men’s category in the 3rd edition of the Bank Windhoek Namibia Bass Angling Association (NBAA) competition held at the Von Bach Dam on the outskirts of Okahandja recently.
Andre van Vuuren however still leads the log standings after three-tournaments so far this year, with 286 points followed by Alec Williams on 285 points and Jaques Marais in 3rd place with 280 points. Sonita Pienaar once again walked away with maximum points in the female category, followed by Colette Carstens and Elmarie Smit in 2nd and 3rd places respectively. However, the cold and rainy weather prevailing during the competition day made it extremely difficult for the anglers to catch the required limit of 5 fish. The next competition takes place on the 17th of next month at the Von Bach Dam.
