REHOBOTH – Namibia’s leading angler Max Pieper won the sixth Bank Windhoek Namibia Bass Angling Association (NBAA) competition at the Oanob Dam in the Rehoboth district last weekend.

Despite the strong winds that made it difficult to fish, Pieper claimed top spot, tailed by Neels van Tonder and Andre van Vuuren in that order. The latter also caught the biggest bass of the competition, weighing 3.542 kg.
In the ladies category, Birte Lund was victorious leaving Sonita Pienaar and Adri van Tonder to pick up the pieces for 2nd and 3rd places respectively.
