Kavevangua Kahengua will present his poetry in English at the FNCC on Tuesday, October 24, at 18h00. At first, he had no sense of direction, but inspiration kept him writing. Step by step he realized that poetic creation is an activity requiring serious writing skills. His poetry has a sense of humour, which lures readers into serious issues. In 2002, he published ‘Dreams’, a collection of his own poems. In 2005, some of his poems were also published in ‘In Search of Questions’, an anthology of Namibian poetry.
