WINDHOEK – The matter in which a police constable, Herold Malio, 29, who stands accused of stabbing his girlfriend in August, will continue on 9 October in the Okakarara Magistrate’s Court. The mater was postponed for further investigations and a legal aid application.
Malio was denied bail in August. He is accused of stabbing his girlfriend Naria Magdalena Uses, 29, who ended up in hospital for treatment, Chief Inspector Levi Richter informed New Era after the incident.
Uses was allegedly stabbed with a knife at Okondjatu last month when the couple had a heated argument and the suspect was reportedly under the influence.
Uses was stabbed in the upper leg, with Malio believed to have been aiming for her private parts.
