WINDHOEK – A newly discovered boy’s pop group, BBC, has just been signed on by a coastal-based promoter, who thinks the youngsters can go places in their singing careers.
The Windhoek-based all-male group was discovered and signed up by Knowledge Ipinge, after realising the group’s creative talents.
“BBC is definitely a good musical creative discovery, which took place during the launch of my own label at the end of November this year at Club Kongoma in the capital. I was very impressed with the group and will help to develop their unique talents to the maximum,” the promoter said in a telephonic interview.
BBC makes its debut at the coast when it performs tomorrow as part of the Miss Palm Beach Competition at Swakopmund.
“On December 29 the group will perform in the Kuisebmund Community Hall at a CD launch of Chukies and Punch. Aunty Sousa and SKB will also feature in this exciting event,” he said of the group managed by Albertina Monde.
BBC is also scheduled to take part in a Radio Energy-sponsored New Year’s Eve bash on December 31.
