Tsumeb – B2Gold’s Otjikoto Mine successfully hosted a corporate golf day at the Tsumeb Golf Club recently that attracted a total of ten teams from various northern mining and supply companies with team consisting of four golfers.
This particular tourney is staged every quarter and was initiated by Basil Read last year whilst the platform was created as a networking opportunity for the management of participating companies. 

Teams from Dundee Precious Metals, Weatherly, Ohorongo Cement, Imerys, Basil Read, B2Gold Namibia and Barloworld had the opportunity to showcase their skills on the golf course. Imerys claimed first spot leaving B2Gold Team and Weatherly to pick up the pieces for second and third places respectively. 

Other winners of the day were Christiaan Nghole (B2Gold) with “nearest to pin” (hole 3) Elkana Mbango (B2Gold) with “nearest to pin” (hole 8) and Sydney Shangombe (B2Gold) with “longest and straightest drive” (hole 9).
