Mathe engages regional office staff

KATIMA MULILO – The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology’s executive director Audrin Mathe has had a busy week engaging with regional offices for the first time since his appointment to the ministry earlier this year.

Mathe has been engaging staff members on areas of focus, such as ensuring they continue on service delivery when it comes to meeting their key performance targets. Mathe assured the staff members he would work hard to ensure the challenges they are facing become a thing of the past, as solutions will be explored to cover the shortfall.

He assured them their concerns would be taken into consideration to ensure productivity, as this would be for the benefit of the community at large.

He further encouraged staff members of MICT, NBC and New Era to work hand in hand in ensuring developments within the regions are well covered and ensure the community at large is aware of whatever is happening in their regions and elsewhere.

He further asked for cooperation. The former journalist and communications specialist said communities should be informed about the services offered by the ministry, such as free internet services, availability of the studio as well as the public address (PA) system at an affordable price.

He further assured the staff members there would be recognition for hard-working staff members, as great changes are to be introduced within the ministry. During his visit to the Zambezi region, Mathe paid a courtesy visit to governor Lawrence Sampofu.
