Nabirm teams up with Badoer Investments on cryptocurrencies

Staff Reporter

Badoer Investments, through its crypto company 4chanCoin, has signed an agreement with Nabirm Global, a licence holder in Namibia. Badoer Investments Ltd is an equity and investments company with global ambitions domiciled in Dubai and with a registered branch office in Nairobi, Kenya. Badoer is an equity partner in Nabirm.

Nabirm owns an exploration licence offshore Namibia, and is exploring the implementation of blockchain technology to improve efficiencies in upstream exploration financing. The partnership has been described as an industry-first mover in disrupting how upstream financing is secured.

Ricardo Badoer, chairman of Badoer Investments, stated: “Important advances in technology rarely come with a full embrace at the start. Perhaps most importantly, the one who will be the first out of the blocks is able to set the agenda and drive the format”.

Olayinka Arowolo, CEO of Nabirm, commented: “There is a strong and unmistakable momentum regarding blockchain technology in other industries, notably banking, technology and increasingly healthcare and the life sciences. The pivot point for oil and gas will be where potential and practicality intersect”.
