SK Khoza to attend My Dream Wedding

Emilie Shimbali

South African TV presenter and acting star, popularly known for his role as Shaka in ‘The Queen’, Sthembizo ‘SK’ Khoza, will be heading to Grove Mall cinema later today to attend the much-awaited premiere of ‘My Dream Wedding (MDW) Namibia’.

MDW is the first Namibian reality TV show of its kind that focuses on traditional Namibian weddings. The show is directed by Julia Kadhikwa and Olive Entertainment Agency.

This isn’t the first time Khoza comes to Namibia; according to Kadhikwa, “the last time he was here was a year ago”.

“It has been a while and it feels so much like he is coming to a reunion; he is so excited,” she said.

Khoza was not available for a comment.

We did, however, establish that he will be dressed by award-winning creative director and fashion designer Ingo Shanyenge.

As part of his work ethics, Shanyenge did not want to reveal much about the piece, only saying: “Of course, it is definitely the most elegant, extraordinary and fabulous. I can’t wait for him to look stunningly well.  I’m so grateful and excited for this great opportunity”.

Shanyenge recently scooped the Lifetime Achievement accolades at the Katutura Fashion Week Awards.

News of the MDW show spread like wildfire a while back, more so the copyright infringement controversy when it was alleged Kadhikwa had stolen the idea from another creative Windeline Kausiona of ‘Wendy Creations’.

However, the blazing fat beef between the two has not fizzled yet, but as the saying goes, “the show must go on”.

“I can’t wait to reveal my honest work and what my production team was up to; don’t miss a thing for this great show,” said Kadhikwa.
