UNAM Bokkies and Okahandja FC played an exciting 1-1 draw in the Round 12 of the FNB Women’s Super League match on Saturday at the NFA Technical Centre in Windhoek.

The match saw Nollen Gorases of Okahandja FC open the scoring, only for Unam’s captain Meltret Ujamba to swiftly respond with an equaliser.

In the second match of the day, coastal outfit Namib Daughters faced off against Girls & Goals, resulting in a tense 2-2 draw. Ignacia Hoases of Namib Daughters drew first blood in the 7th minute, but Mchane Vries of Girls & Goals quickly levelled the score. In the second half, Uueziua Beverly doubled the lead for Girls & Goals, but a late goal from Petronella Somses salvaged a point for Namib Daughters.

The action-packed day concluded with Beauties FC showcasing their dominance over Ongwediva Queens who they thrashed convincingly 5-2. Aletta Kock, Unondjamo Kaetjavi, Leena Alweendo, Shamilla Damases, and Fiola Fliete all found the net for Beauties FC, while Anna Gideon and Ladaiha Haufiku scored consolation goals for Ongwediva Queens.

Round 13 matches were scheduled to continue yesterday afternoon.
